Aphgan Project \ Kevin Lent Project \ Climer House Project \ Mexico Projects \ Pullman House Project \ August 1996 Project Report \ Suggestions
This organization has the goal of arranging service projects to anyone, anywhere that has a real need for charitable relief. this means that we are looking for people that have ideas for service projects but don't know how to get started. Charity Anywhere Foundation would be the catalyst to make the project a reality, plus all donations would be TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
Please read through some of the projects we are currently working on and some of the projects that we have completed.
A lady in Kimberly lost her house in a fire recently. A number of very generous volunteers have agreed to help her rebuild her house. We have already received generous donations and help from parties in Las Vegas and from the Red Cross. Thanks to the kind hearted people of Kimberly and a little nudge from Charity Anywhere Foundation, we are happy to report that the house is now complete. Mrs. Climer moved into her new house March 6, 1997. We are a Non-Profit organization so we can offer you TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS of any kind. If you would like to help out on this most recent project, please give us a call or send us e-mail. We accept all forms of donations, be it Labor, Materials, Money, or Time.
The second lead that we have is to supply eye glasses for needy children in Mexico City. We have a Donor that will have the money for the glasses. We will need professionals that would be willing to donate their time and expertise to go down to Mexico City and prescribe the glasses. Any type of eye care professionals are welcome and needed. We are hoping to complete both of these projects this summer.
We have been notified of a lady in Kimberly that is in need of assistance with her home. We have been approched by Community Action and the Catholic Church to help bring this project together. We will be rebuilding this lady's home. With the support of many willing people we will bring this project to completion before the summer is over. We are in desperate need of people that are willing to help rebuild this house. The funding is available so that almost all of the materials can be purchased, but we will need helping hands to put it all together. If you would like to help your community grow, and would like to help out your fellow man in a service project, please contact us. We will be glad to give you more specific times and dates as to when we will be in Kimberly rebuilding the home. 734-8041 or e-mail at Charity Anywhere.
Our expedition in August was a great success. Thank you to all those that participated. We went down to Tecate Mexico and finished a school room for orphan children. We were there a week.
Adults $300, Students $150, Children $10.
This opportunity is wonderful for Students and Children. Many of the kids that returned from our expeditions have found a new appreciation for living in the United States of America, and have a new understanding for the wonderful luxuries of life that we enjoy such as hot running water and bathrooms.
If you have desires to attend our next expedition or would like to get more information please call or e-mail soon, so you can be a part of our next project.
Any type of tax deductible donations are always accepted, but we would rather have people willing to give of their time and energy to go down and help in these projects.
