August 1996 Project "Mexico expedition"
This is what we had to work with, an old pool that was useless to the orphanage. It didn't even hold water.
We Drilled holes in the cement and framed up the walls and knocked out a hole for the door on our First Expedition
We put sheet rock up, hooked up the lights and plastered everything we could. Mormon Missionaries and some local cement experts finished the interior.
We finished it off and put a roof on the building.
This is the finished product. We left the orphanage without having plastered the exterior. Again, the local people helped to finish the exterior. We are pretty proud of our work.
