Magic Valley
Regional Medical Center Foundation Presents
"Christmas Around the World"
Did you know that more than 3 billion people celebrate Christmas
Around the World? This year we are sharing how Christmas is
celebrated worldwide.
The music,
international theme trees, over 400 nativities (Courtesy of
Charity Anywhere Foundation), and International Flags with
student representation (Courtesy of Kim Prestwich, Coordinator
Multicultural Student Services, CSI ) will be on display for all
to enjoy. Plus this spectacular festival will feature a 10-foot
rotating globe. Come take a "peek through the window" at
different cultures and their many Christmas traditions.
This year the
Festival Committee invites you to learn more about where holiday
traditions began. Popular traditions include the decorated
evergreen tree, of course, and sparkling lights, imported
ornaments and stunning vignettes.
